I've uploaded a live recording of Julian singing the classic "Stand By Me" in concert circa 1985/86.
This song was also famously covered by Julian's dad in 1975, can any of you name all the songs both John & Julian have sung?

What a Beauty of song, "Stand by Me" thanks for sharing RJ....I believe "Stand By Me" is the only song Julian had sung from his Dad? hope i am right, hee hee! xx
ReplyDeleteWell All that I know that Julian sung some Of your daddy's songs from The Beatles like "It Won't Belong on Japan, I'm not sure but I think that "Day Tripper too on Japan Concert 86, I heard to say also that re recorded 'Blackbird'and for a commercial, he sung "When I'm sixty Four".
ReplyDeleteGood try Maritza but Taylana wins! Julian (AFAIK) has never performed or recorded "Blackbird" but all of the other titles are correct. The only one Tay missed is "Slippin & Sliding" which John also covered in 1975 and Julian would cover it during the 1980's in concert.
